'Every Teacher is a Language Teacher'

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This workshop is about the fact that all teachers should try to see themselves as language teachers (not just subject teachers). Our students sometimes struggle with the text types they are exposed to in their different subjects, and are expected to learn a large range of academic vocabulary that is subject-specific. In this workshop there will be activities to focus on the types of difficulties students face and how we can help solve them.
