Why every school should have a Makerspace/Fablab

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The original Maker Faire attracted over 150,000 people this year and has inspired hundreds of Maker Faires like it around the world in what has been dubbed the "Maker Movement". Progressive educators have connected with the like-minded ideals of: creativity, play, hands-on-learning, community, and a DIY attitude championed by the Maker Movement. The presentation will focus on connecting you with the reasons for building one + the nuts & bots of building it.
