Art Educator
Shanghai, China
I am an art educator teaching in Shanghai after teaching for 18 years in South Korea and the middle Atlantic region of the USA (Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland). I have taught students of all ages in almost any medium you can imagine! I have a bachelor's degrees in art education and psychology from Millersville University and a master's degree in Art Education from Marywood University. I owned and operated my own private art school for over 5 years, as well. I continue to be an improving artist, singer, songwriter, photographer, writer, and entrepreneur. I have been been to Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, and all around North America. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, hiking, traveling, and kayaking.
What I am most passionate about is inspiring others to see the many options varied knowledge and experiences bring to life. I choose to teach art because I see how it is a part of everything and everything is a part of it. The connections and collaborations between all disciplines is what interests me the most.
